WiMAX Forum to Host AeroMACS Presentations and Exhibition

 

CLACKAMAS, OR – January 25, 2018 – The WiMAX Forum®, the leading nonprofit organization that certifies and promotes the compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products based upon IEEE Standard 802.16, announces the third annual AeroMACS 2018 - Madrid collocated with World ATM Congress on Wednesday, March 7 at 16:00-18:00 at the Aireon Spotlight Stage on the exhibition floor located at IFEMA – Feria de Madrid Convention Centre.

The event will support the global Aviation community in deploying profitable and effective Aeronautical Mobile Airport Communication System (AeroMACS) networks. AeroMACS 2018 - Madrid will highlight the latest AeroMACS developments and its positive impact on the Aviation industry. This year’s presentation will evolve towards the latest milestones, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Policy and cyber threats, security announcements, new standards development, worldwide tests and other successful implementations.

The WiMAX Forum would like extend an especial thank you to Comodo, Eonti and Powertech Labs for supporting the event. Confirmed speaker companies include ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal, Aviation Data Communication Corporation (ADCC), Comodo, Digicert-Symantec, Eonti, Leonardo Company, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Powertech Labs, and Siemens.
