The WiMAX Forum and CelPlan Technologies to provide information on how to maximize Narrowband initiative
CLACKAMAS, OR – December 20, 2016 – The WiMAX Forum® is proud to announce that it will jointly host with CelPlan Technologies the annual WiGRID 2017, a pre-conference session at DistribuTECH on Monday, January 30 at 2:00-5:30PM at San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA, USA. The event will support utilities and the Smart Energy community in deploying affordable, effective wireless networks and progressing their communication initiatives. Participation is free to all DistribuTECH attendees.
WiGRID 2017 – DistribuTECH will focus on Narrowband, the upper 700 MHz A Block spectrum band in the form of two narrow, 1-megahertz channels. The afternoon pre-conference session will expand on the value proposition, profile development, certification, spectrum policy, security, collaboration with IEEE, solutions available to the market, and more. WiGRID 2017 – DistribuTECH will highlight the opportunities and challenges, and it will allow attendees to network, share best practices, and work collaboratively with industry experts to shape the desired outcomes that will drive success in the industry for Narrowband.
