About the Event:
The WiMAX Forum is pleased to announce the fourth annual AeroMACS 2019 – Madrid. The AeroMACS sessions will take place on Wednesday, 13 March from 14:10 to 16:10 at the World ATM Congress Aireon Spotlight Stage at IFEMA, located at Recinto Ferial Juan Carlos I, Parque Juan Carlos I, s/n, 28042 Madrid, Spain.
Aeronautical Mobile Airport Communication System (AeroMACS) operates in the protected 5091-5150 MHz spectrum band for airport applications allocated by the ITU. It creates a new airport surface data communication system that is robust, efficient, secure, safe, and flexible. These capabilities enable significant improvements in safety and efficiency envisaged by programs such as NextGen in the United States and the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) initiative.
AeroMACS 2019 - Madrid will focus on supporting the global Aviation Community in managing profitable developments and growth of their AeroMACS networks. Our goal is for attending participants to gain concrete knowledge that will help them build best-in-class AeroMACS networks and fully utilize them.
The WiMAX Forum and its member companies will have AeroMACS booths on the exhibition show floor with more details and equipment. Come learn more about AeroMACS at the World ATM Congress Exhibition. The WiMAX Forum Leadership will be located at Hall 10 - Stand 117 near AeroMACS industry leaders and WiMAX Forum Members Leonardo Stand 890 and Siemens Stand 119.
