Kanaka Hidayat

Kanaka Hidayat is a General Manager at Broadband Broadcast Services with teleport facility in Jakarta. Kanaka is also active in the Indonesian broadband community through IDWiBB (Indonesian Wireless Broadband Association) and MASTEL, the largest telecommunication society in Indonesia.

Previously, Kanaka was an Account Director of Motorola Indonesia developing business for its Network Division, including the early implementation of CDMA network in Sumatera and developing the first WiMAX network in Jakarta.

Kanaka’s more than 25 years career in telecommunication started with Research and Data Systems Corporation in Lanham, Maryland, USA, and continued to INTELSAT HQ in Washington DC. Kanaka was tasked to start Palapa-C satellite operational team in 1995 and 6 years later moved to sales and marketing of SpeedCast (HK) broadband services.

Kanaka has also served as member of the Board of Director of Paktel VSAT, Project Manager at The Emergence Group and Director at Witelcom wireless subsidiary.
