The company has more than 250,000 voice subscribers in northern regions of Iraq and is in the final phases of deploying a WiMAX network. It's headquartered in Sulaimaniyah, Iraq and is a privately owned company. Fanoos is a strategic partner of AsiaCell and partly owned by Qtel International.
